John Poole serves as a Financial Fitness Consultant for the Financial Fitness for Life team. As a consultant, John is responsible for managing and implementing education programs for clients. He helps clients understand complex concepts and topics related to saving, investing, and growing their money so they can enjoy a dignified retirement.

John has been in the finance industry for over 21 years, with the last 11 years having been specifically in the retirement education space. His previous roles began his passion for the industry as a whole. “I think that as financial industry professionals, we have the obligation to help clients feel comfortable and knowledgeable about the tools available to them, and to educate in a respectful and effective way. I want every hardworking American to enjoy a satisfying retirement.”

John graduated from the University of Houston with his Bachelor of Arts in History. He later furthered his education, earning his Master of Arts in Military History from American Military University in Charles Town, West Virginia. He also holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.

In his free time, John enjoys going to his son’s little league games, watching Houston Astros baseball, shooting, fishing, camping, and traveling.
